Doc Hodges: News

May 22nd Show At KSB Rescheduled

Doc Hodges and the EPs show for May 22nd, 2015 at King Street Blues in Old Town has been rescheduled to August 21st, 2015.  Showtime will remain 9pm-Midnight.

Third Annaul "Old Town - New Year's Celebration" a hit with Alexandria locals!

1/5/14 - For the third consecutive year, Doc Hodges brought in the new year at King Street Blues in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia.  Backed by local music legends Gary Cole and Vince Calcaterra, and trading the stage with the King Street Bluegrass band, the fun and entertaining night proved to be the perfect ending to a productive 2013 and a sign for the coming year.

Kicking off with "Folsom Prison Blues", Doc began the set with a classic Cash song that got the crowd involved early.  Many who heard that first song stayed until the end of the night, enjoying classic country hits and bluegrass standards.  "The best New Year's Eve ever at KSB" was echoed through sentiments from customers and staff alike.

Doc is looking forward to continuing to play with the EPs into the new year and develop his performance of original songs and old standards.  Look for more to come from this dynamic entertainer.
